Kankakee Community College issued the following announcement on Oct. 9.
An area-wide College Fair featuring more than 40 colleges and universities will begin Oct. 19.
The virtual event will have videos from the colleges, plus extras such as how to navigate the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) and tips to get scholarships. Although the event is tailored to traditional-aged students still in high school, adults considering returning to college and family members are also welcome to take part.
To access the College Fair information, go to www.kcc.edu/collegefair anytime from Monday, Oct. 19 to Monday, Nov. 2. A brief electronic sign-in form is required.
Kankakee Community College is hosting the event in cooperation with 15 area high schools.
