City of Momence City Council Public Works Committee met Sept. 21.

The Public Works Committee meeting was held in the Council Chambers at 29 North Dixie Highway, Momence.
Present: Chairman Alderman Metz, also present Aldermen Salomone, Carbonaro, Clark, Cook, Cope, Temple and Rehmer. Also, present Mayor Steele.
Discussed water/sewer rates. Alderman Salomone provided a spreadsheet with possible new rates.
A letter will be drawn up for the big industrial users to provide information on rate increases. If a meeting is needed, a meeting with the bigger users will be provided.
Scott suggested doing one flat rate for residential/commercial/industry vs. separating all.
Meeting closed at 7:20 P.M.
