Home prices increased in Grant Park during the first quarter of 2021

The median sale price of a home sold in the first quarter of 2021 in Grant Park rose by $8,500 while total sales remained unchanged with four homes sold, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through March of 2021, there were four homes sold, with a median sale price of $146,000 - a 6.2% increase over the $137,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were four homes sold in Grant Park in the first quarter of 2020, as well.

The median sales tax in Grant Park for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $4,164, approximately 2.9% of the median home sale price for the first quarter of 2021.
