On June 25, Zaigham Farooq purchased a home at 1844 N. Springview Lane, Kankakee from Virginia A. McHie (trustee) and Virginia A. McHie (revocable living trust) for $243,000.

The amount paid for property taxes on this property in 2019 was $5,799.34, 2.39% of the sale price of the home.

So far in June 2021, 11 properties sold in Kankakee.

According to the Illinois State Board of Elections, there were two registered voters residing at 1844 N. Springview Lane as of Oct. 10, 2020: V. Aline McHie, 85, and Richard H. McHie, 85.
