On Oct. 21, Ernesto Guzman Sierra purchased a home at 502 S. Gordon Ave., Kankakee from Retta Allen for $25,000.

The amount paid for property taxes on this property in 2020 was $1,698.56, 6.79% of the sale price of the home.

So far in October 2021, 12 properties sold in Kankakee.

According to the Illinois State Board of Elections, Retta Mai Allen (88) has been registered to vote since 1957 and has voted in at least eight primary elections, records show, including eight Democratic Primaries.

There were no other registered voters living at the residence as of Oct. 10, 2020.
