Report: St. Anne School District spent $22,134 per student in 2019-20

Spending per pupil at St. Anne Community High School District 302 was up 46.3 percent from five years ago, according to the Kankakee Times analysis of the latest Illinois schools report card district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2019-20 report card showed the Kankakee County school district spent $15,131 per pupil in 2015-16. It spent $22,134 in 2019-20.

The district's enrollment fell from 239 to 186 students over the same period.

St. Anne's spending in 2019-20 was 52.7 percent higher than the state average of $14,492.
