Report: Iroquois West School District spent $11,480 per student in 2019-20

Spending per pupil at Iroquois West Community Unit School District 10 was down 3.7 percent from five years ago, according to the Kankakee Times analysis of the latest Illinois schools report card district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2019-20 report card showed the Iroquois County school district spent $11,927 per pupil in 2015-16. It spent $11,480 in 2019-20.

The district's enrollment fell from 993 to 926 students over the same period.

Iroquois West's spending in 2019-20 was 20.8 percent lower than the state average of $14,492.
