Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) Program on March 1

Free tax filing assistance program hosted by certified accounting students at Olivet.

Olivet Nazarene University and The McGraw School of Business is offering Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) to Olivet students and the surrounding community of Kankakee. 

Olivet Nazarene University is an IRS-qualified site where certified accounting students help file taxes. The program will be available every Tuesday through March 29 from 4-6 p.m. in room 307 in the Weber Leadership center, 1 University Ave., Bourbonnais. 

The program is for qualified individuals with an income of $58,000 or less. Also, people who have disabilities or limited English speaking skills.

What to bring:

• Tax Information such as Forms W-2, 1099, 1098, 1095.

• Social security cards or ITIN letters for all persons on your tax returns. (Copies or photos of information accepted)

• Picture ID (such as valid driver's license) for you and your spouse.

• Prior year federal and state tax returns if available.
