Village of Herscher Administration Committee met Oct. 3.
Here are the minutes provided by the committee:
Village President Shannon Sweeney called the meeting to order with Trustees John Branz, Skip Grigas, Andy Cotter, Bob Voss, Jacob Wagner, and Mike Bruner. Also, present Village Clerk Heather Meredith.
The total amount of Grants requested totaled around $425,000. We have $250,000 budgeted to distribute. The max that could be requested is $25,000. We have 8 applicants over the $25,000 max. If we granted the $25,000 to all the applicants over the $25,000 and the requested amount to those under $25,000 it would total roughly $277,000. After some discussion the consensus was to grant $25,000 Hair Effects, The Athletic Club, Herscher Restaurant and Pub, Old Chevy Showroom, and Leiser Furniture; $20,000 to Hardware Hank, Old Chevy Garage, and Pub on Main; $17,527.50 to the Historical Society Museum; $15,000 to Lift Fitness and Salon 180; and $1,980 to County West Physical Therapy.
