Here is the agenda provided by the committee:

Village Trustee Mike Bruner called the meeting to order with Trustees John Branz, Jacob Wagner (Zoom), Andy Cotter, Bob Voss, and Mike Bruner. Also, present Village President Shannon Sweeney, Village Clerk Heather Meredith, and Darin Clarke from Maguire Iron.

Mike Bruner introduced Darin Clarke from Maguire Iron. Darin explained who he was and who the company is. He went through some slides with pictures from the water tower leak in 2019. He had some pictures of some corrosion issues with the water tower issues which is normal, and a ladder on the inside has a broken seam and has pulled away from tower. He suggests that we keep a logbook of who is in and out of water tower. Darin said the tower is need a paint sooner than later, he added that with proper preventive maintenance the life expectancy of the tower is indefinite. Our tank is 19 years old.

Darin went over a maintenance plan for the water tower. It is GASB 34 compliant. He said the contract would be between us and Maguire iron only, we can cancel anytime, it includes cleaning, paint, repairs, and emergency repairs. We can build the program to fit our needs. The plan is very front loaded so we can spread out payments more. Darin explained that some Villages implement an infrastructure fee to the water bills to help off set the cost.

Motion to adjourn by Bob Voss. Seconded by Andy Cotter. All in favor; Motion carried.

Adjourn at 6:55 p.m.
