> Yoga in the Park continues at Cavalier Park this Saturday, June 24 from 8:30-9:30 AM, and again on Tuesday, June 27 "A Summer Evening of Yin" from 5:30-6:30 PM at Cavalier Park.
> Movie in the Park will be held on Friday, July 14 at Meadowbrook Park playing Disney's Pixar "Turning Red" at approximately 8:30 PM.

Action, Resolution: C. RESOLUTION NO. 23-1537 - A Resolution Accepting and Expressing Support for the Northern Gateway Streetscape Plan.

> Following the reading by Clerk Simeur, Mr. Van Mill stated the Village commissioned Hitchcock Design & Piggush Engineering to assist in the Streetscape development plan from Bourbonnais Parkway to Convent, Convent to Main Street and Larry Power Road, along with Burns Road. This plan sets goals and recommendations for the consistent development of our main gateways into the Village. An aesthetic and well-maintained entryway builds pride in the community and advances economic development. Passing and accepting this plan will allow the Village to budget and apply for grants to implement this plan.

> Trustee Greenlee thanked Chief Phelps and the Officers for putting together a security plan covering the Friendship Festival this year, along with road closures for the parades.
10. PUBLIC WORKS COMMITTEE - Trustee Randy King, Chair
Information: A. Public Works Committee
> Trustee Randy King read a report from Public Works Superintendent Terry Memenga:
> Continuing routine maintenance of items in the parks, sweeping streets, cleaning gutters and pothole patching.
> Jordan Park garden plots are completed, and restoration continues. Marcotte Park renovations continue and should be done in July.
> Completing curb/drainage repairs along Patriot Way in preparation for MFT work.
> Route 102 project continues, signal hardware is nearly complete, milling has been completed and paving has begun from Plum Creek to Warner Bridge Road, should take about 2 weeks. Once the Friendship Festival is over they will begin moving the milling operation into town, most of this paving will take place in the overnight hours. Further sidewalk repairs are expected to begin in July.
> Paving project on 5000 N and 6000 N Roads is expected to be completed by the end of this week.
> Municipal Pond new railing is installed.

> 48th Annual Friendship Festival kicks off this Wednesday, June 21 through Sunday June 25 here at the Municipal Campus. Full list of events is available at Bourbonnaisfriendshipfestival.com.
> Next Regular Board meeting has been moved from Monday, July 3 to Thursday, June 29 at 5:30 PM in the Municipal Center Board room.
> Village offices will be closed on Tuesday, July 4 in observance of the holiday.

> Trustee Serafini announced the Veteran's Appreciation Luncheon from 11:00am to 1:00pm on Saturday, June 24 at the Friendship Festival under the beer tent, all will receive a free meal.
> Trustee Littrell gave his condolences to Trustee Serafini and her family on the loss of her Grandmother.
