Bourbonnais School District 53 Education: 1,465 white students were enrolled in schools in 2021-22 school year

There were 1,465 white students enrolled in Bourbonnais School District 53 in the 2021-22 school year, 0.3% less than the previous year, according to the Illinois State Board of Education report.

Data showed that Bourbonnais School District 53 welcomed 2,439 students during the 2021-22 school year. Among them, white students comprised 64.2% of the student body to be the most represented ethnicity in the district.

Bourbonnais School District 53 roughly covers schools within Kankakee County and has a main office in Bourbonnais.

Among the five schools in Bourbonnais School District 53, Liberty Intermediate School recorded the highest enrollment of white students in the 2021-22 school year, with a total of 481 students.
