Roll Call was taken, all members present

*Motion to approve minutes from 7/03/23 previous meeting

Motion: Morgan 2nd: Bruni Motion Carried 6-0-0

Public Comments: Ben Wilson and Angela Morrey from the Kankakee County Economic Alliance spoke to explain their program to the Board

Josh Woodhall asked for an update on ADA compliance within the Village. Pres. Hawkins spoke to action has been taken, and waiting a reply from the ADA compliance Board

*Motion to approve Bills for Payment: <7/17/23 General Fund $19,863.39, Fest Fund $300.00, T.I.F. $4,195.19, Payroll <7/08/23 $23,529.28, Stipend <7/10/23 $2,400.00

First reading held Ordinance O-7-23-2 supplementing the appropriations for corporate purposes for the fiscal year beginning May 1, 2022 and ending April 30, 2023, for the Village of Grant Park, Illinois

Finance, Morgan: no report

Community Outreach, Detloff: had questions for Village Treasurer, mainly centered around reconciliation of financial reports, and monthly on checking balances. Asked and answered

Building & Grounds, Bruni:

*Motion to approve video and audio recording of meetings with intent to provide public information via the internet

Law Enforcement, Whorrall: no report

Chief Frey: Discussed camera proposal for Village Hall

Pres. Hawkins: Vote to join Economic Alliance, tabled. Ms. Wield questioned a couple future Park rentals, concerned for Park grounds damage. Clarification of rental contract to be reviewed.
