Robin Kelly, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Illinois’ 2nd district since 2013, has shared her views on several pressing issues through recent social media posts. Her messages focus on reproductive rights, public health, and historical remembrance.

On December 4, 2024, Kelly expressed concern over the potential impact of the upcoming administration on women's reproductive rights and maternal healthcare. She emphasized the need to enhance access to child care, postpartum care, and obstetrics care in light of these anxieties. "Thank you for having me @Axios! A lot of women and families are justifiably anxious about how the next administration will affect reproductive rights and maternal healthcare. It’s more important than ever to improve access to child care, postpartum care, and obstetrics care."

Later that day, Kelly highlighted National Influenza Vaccination Week by urging community members to get vaccinated as flu season approaches. She underscored the importance of vaccinations in maintaining public health during winter months. "This week is #NationalInfluenzaVaccinationWeek. As flu season approaches, it is important to protect yourself and those around you by getting vaccinated. Let’s keep our community healthy this winter."

On December 5, 2024, Kelly commemorated the Montgomery Bus Boycott's anniversary by honoring Rosa Parks' pivotal role in civil rights history. She reflected on Parks' courageous act which initiated a significant movement towards racial integration in public transportation systems across America. "69 years ago today, the Montgomery Bus Boycott began when Rosa Parks refused to give up her bus seat. This led to 13 months of peaceful protest, and played a vital role in the integration of public buses. Today, I am honoring her courage and her lasting legacy on our nation."
