Emile G. Denault | Clancy Gernon Funeral Homes - Bourbonnais

Emile G. Denault, 98, of Bradley, passed away on Sunday, June 15, 2025, at his home. Born on December 1, 1926, in Herscher, he served in the US Army. Emile wed Betty Milton in 1957 in Las Vegas, NV, and worked at Roper in Kankakee. An accomplished tax accountant, he enjoyed card games, casino visits, and bowling. Known for his passion for the Chicago Bears and Cubs, he was active in St. Teresa Catholic Church in Kankakee and St. Joseph Catholic Church in Bradley.

Survived by his wife, Betty; son Russell Denault; daughter and son-in-law Debra and Daniel Jensen; granddaughter Nicole Schrettl; brothers Jerome, Vernon, and Maynard Denault; and many nieces and nephews. Emile cherished family and community bonds.

Cremation rites have been accorded, with a memorial visitation and service on Friday, June 27, 2025, at Clancy-Gernon-Hertz Funeral Home in Kankakee. Deacon Ron Gagnon will lead the ceremony, followed by inurnment at Mount Calvary Cemetery.
