Thomas P White | Clancy Gernon Funeral Homes - Bourbonnais

Thomas P. “Tom” White, 83, passed away on June 22, 2025, at his daughter's home in Crete. Born on August 30, 1941, to Thomas A. and Mary Kathryn White, he married Marilyn Faye Granger in 1966. Tom, a dedicated tool and die maker at Ford Motor Company for forty years, was known for his skill in building stained glass windows, flying remote control airplanes, and crafting rocking horses for his grandchildren.

A veteran of the United States Army, Tom enjoyed fishing, golfing, and cherished family time. Survived by his daughter Lori (Tim) Creed, sons Brian White and Kevin White, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, he will be deeply missed. Preceded in death by his wife Marilyn, parents, brother James White, and sister Mary Ellen Masters.

A visitation and funeral service will be held at Clancy-Gernon Funeral Home in Manteno on July 2, 2025, with burial at Wilton Center Cemetery. Donations can be made to family wishes, the Alzheimer’s Association, or Uplifted Care in memory of Thomas P. White.
