Hunter Mitchell Gable, aged 25, passed away tragically in an accident on Thursday, July 24th, while doing what he loved – staying fit. Hunter had a beautiful light that illuminated the lives of all who knew and loved him. His infectious smile, laughter, and pure, innocent soul could brighten even the darkest of days. He had a passion for the outdoors, enjoying activities like running, morel mushroom hunting, and exploring favorite spots such as the state park and Perry Farm. A dedicated gym enthusiast, Hunter excelled in various sports like karate, wrestling, and football. He cherished time spent with family and friends and had a deep love for animals.

Hunter is survived by his mother, Amanda Webb Ward, and stepfather Steve Ward; father Jeff Gable, and stepmother Jackie Beaulieu; brothers Dakota Gable and Ryder Webb; stepsiblings Ashton Ward, Devin Bonner, Steve Beaulieu, Bailey Ward, Heidi Peppin, and Danielle Bonner; aunt and uncle Lindsey and David Goodwin; great aunt Joyce and uncle Mark Westenberg; along with several other aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. He is preceded in death by his Nana and Papa, John and Mary Turnball, and maternal grandparents Dorcas Evans and Earl Webb.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 2, 2025, at Clancy-Gernon Funeral Home in Bourbonnais, with a funeral service officiated by Chaplain Dan Horton & family. Cremation rites will follow the service. The family kindly requests friends to bring hard copy photos of their favorite memories with Hunter to be placed in a photo album. The family's friends are invited to visit the Sympathy Store to send a memorial gift to honor Hunter Mitchell Gable.
