Richard "Dick" Wayne Bergeron, 86, of Bourbonnais, passed away on August 15, 2025, at Riverside Miller Healthcare in Kankakee. Born on August 12, 1939, in Kankakee, Illinois, Dick was known for his involvement in the automobile business in the area. He was a graduate of Marmion Military Academy and served in the Army National Guard. Dick was a dedicated member of various organizations including Knights of Columbus and Manteno AMVETS Chapter 107. He is survived by his wife Bonnie Faye Robinson, sister Linda Edelman, and several nieces and nephews. Cremation rites have been performed, and a memorial Mass is scheduled for Friday, August 22, 2025, at Maternity BVM Catholic Church in Bourbonnais. Arrangements are being handled by Clancy-Gernon Funeral Homes, Bourbonnais. Memorial donations can be made to Maternity BVM Catholic Church in Bourbonnais or Illinois Veterans’ Home at Manteno.
