Later that day, she shared details from visits with local entrepreneurs: "On Monday, I joined local entrepreneurs at Recycled Modern, StruggleBeard Bakery, and The Silverroom. We discussed the real challenges small businesses face, and how I can support them as they grow and strengthen our communities." (September 27, 2025).
Kelly also reported on her participation in a community walk organized by the South Shore Chamber: "I joined the South Shore Chamber to walk 71st Street and hear about their work to redevelop vacant properties, support small businesses, and build community ownership. Since first being elected to Congress in a special election in 2013, Robin Kelly has consistently won re-election by significant margins. In recent general elections—2022 against Thomas Lynch; 2020 against Theresa Raborn; 2018 against David Merkle; 2016 against John Morrow; and 2014 against Eric Wallace—she secured between approximately two-thirds and four-fifths of the vote each time.
