U.S. Representative Robin Kelly addressed several national issues in a series of posts on September 29 and 30, 2025, focusing on food assistance programs, veterans' care, and immigration policy under the Trump administration.

On September 29, Kelly marked Food Stamp Act Day by reaffirming her support for the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP). She wrote, "Today we mark Food Stamp Act Day. Amid relentless attacks from President Trump and Republicans, I stand firm in defending SNAP. This program is about dignity, health, and opportunity—ensuring families across our nation never face hunger alone."

Later that day, she commented on veterans' issues during Veterans of Foreign Wars Day. In her post, Kelly stated, "President Trump praises veterans in speeches but threatens their care in a shutdown political game. On Veterans of Foreign Wars Day, I stand with our heroes and recommit to ensuring their healthcare, housing, and family support."

On September 30, Kelly criticized U.S. immigration enforcement practices under former President Donald Trump. She posted: "America is supposed to be a beacon of democracy. But ICE’s abuses of power under President Trump only spreads fear and trauma. I will continue to fight alongside Democrats for an immigration system that respects people’s dignity and upholds justice."

Robin Kelly has consistently secured re-election to Congress since 2014 with significant margins over her opponents.
