U.S. Representative Robin Kelly shared a series of posts on October 7, 2025, addressing local infrastructure improvements, the ongoing conflict in Israel and Gaza, and recent actions by Republican lawmakers.
In her first post at 01:09 UTC, Kelly highlighted updates to Metra stations on Chicago’s South Side. She wrote, "Today, we marked a step forward for the South Side. My grandson is thrilled about these updated @Metra stations, which include accessible entrances, elevators, and better lighting—changes that make a real difference. Everyone deserves safe, modern transit that connects them to https://t.co/0rOOsbUWdW".
Later that day at 13:59 UTC, Kelly commented on the second anniversary of the Hamas attack on Israel. She stated, "Two years after the attack on Israel by Hamas, I continue to mourn the innocent lives lost and pray for the 48 hostages still held.
In the years since, over 65,000 Palestinians have died. It’s time to end this war. Both peoples deserve lasting peace. https://t.co/eBc9hB4Dpi".
At 19:03 UTC on October 7th, Kelly criticized former President Trump and congressional Republicans for their role in government operations and healthcare policy. She posted,"President Trump and Republicans shut down the government, gutted healthcare, and blocked the Epstein Files from being released.
@HouseDemocrats and I are standing up for the truth and fighting to ensure every American family has affordable healthcare."
