Robin Kelly has served as the U.S. Representative for Illinois’s 2nd congressional district since 2013. She has consistently secured reelection by wide margins, including victories in 2022, 2020, 2018, 2016, and 2014. In the 2022 general election, she defeated Thomas Lynch with 67.1% of the vote. Her previous election wins also showed strong support, with over 78% of the vote in both 2020 and 2016, and over 80% in 2018.
