Rheba Darlene Bertrand | Clancy Gernon Funeral Homes - Bourbonnais
Rheba Darlene Bertrand, age 88, of Bonfield, passed away on Tuesday, October 21, 2025, at St. Mary's Hospital in Kankakee. She was born on July 3, 1937, in Newton, IL, Jasper County, to W. Dale and Anna G. Harvey. Rheba was a homemaker, known for her love of cooking, sewing, and helping run the family farm. She was a parishioner of St. James Catholic Church in Irwin. Rheba is survived by her husband of 70 years, Eugene A. Bertrand, three sons, one daughter, thirteen grandchildren, and twenty great-grandchildren. Visitation and funeral services will be held at Clancy-Gernon Funeral Home and St. James Catholic Church, respectively, with entombment at All Saints Mausoleum in Bourbonnais. Memorial donations can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
