The Grant Park Board approved a number of new purchases, including buying a defibrillator for the park building, at its Dec. 7 meeting.
The defibrillator will be purchased with matching funds from an insurance grant not to exceed $900.
The board also authorized purchasing lattice for windows on the park building, a vintage wagon, and a renewed insurance policy with Illinois Counties Risk Management Trust.
Members also authorized payment of $65,082 in bills and voted 6-0 to begin accepting bids for village-owned property on Stanley Street.
The board's next meeting will be 6 p.m. Monday at 106 W. Taylor St.
