The Manteno Village Board will swear in a new police officer at its regular meeting at 7 p.m. Monday in the Village Board Room of the Leo T. Hassett Community Center.
Village Administrator Bernie Thompson will present Police Officer Chris Reynolds to the board.
The village also will authorize the sale of surplus equipment, pay $62,973.12 in bills and consider an ordinance that would adjust the interest rate schedule for the village's senior lien general obligation bonds.
