New cafeteria and gym floors are on the way for Je-Neir Elementary Schools, following a school board decision to seek bids for the work at its meeting Nov. 30.
The board was expecting the work to be completed during the holiday break.
The board also discussed ways to trim expenses for its 2017 budget.
The next school board meeting was scheduled for Dec. 14.
