The Kankakee County Highway and Bridge Committee will meet Thursday at the Kankakee County Administration Building to vote on signing an escrow agreement for Kelly Creek Wind Farm.
The county approved permits for the project in August, and according to the Daily Journal, the wind farm is expected to generate 700 jobs and $3 million in new property taxes.
The committee will also consider authorizing emergency repair contracts.
The meeting is scheduled for 9 a.m.
