A major sidewalk replacement project in Momence, which was scheduled to begin next week, will be delayed until at least April 4 while the crews wait for supplies to be delivered.
The $370,000 project is expected to take approximately six weeks and will include new sidewalks, tree plantings and reset light posts.
Momence Mayor Mick Porter said 80 percent of the project's costs will be paid through the Illinois Department of Transportation's Enhancement Program.
