Kankakee and Iroquois County residents now have access to the United Way 2-1-1 program, a free program available 24 hours a day, seven days a week that connects residents who need health, job training and childcare support, among other essential services.

The service is accessible by landline or cell phone; callers will be connected to a trained operator who will point them in the right direction based on specific needs. Help can also be found online, via a collaboration between the United Way and Presence Health.
