People in the Watseka area are invited to enroll in a variety of classes at the Kankakee Community College Miner South Extension Center in Watseka. These classes range from GED classes to Introduction to Information Processing.
Kankakee and Iroquois County residents now have access to the United Way 2-1-1 program, a free program available 24 hours a day, seven days a week that connects residents who need health, job training and childcare support, among other essential services.
Dr. Kristine Condon will speak on the launch of the Illinois Civics Academy for Teachers at Kankakee Community College (KCC) at 1 p.m. and 6 p.m. on Feb. 8.
