Village of Bourbonnais Finance Committee met March 29.

Here is the minutes provided by the Committee:

1. Roll Call:

Village President Paul Schore, Trustee Amiano, Trustee Greenlee, Trustee Keast, Trustee Littrell, Trustee Fischer, Village Treasurer Riebe, Village Administrator Van Mill, Finance Director Wolf, and Village Attorney Pat Dunn are all present. Also in attendance is Village Engineer Dave Tyson. Absent is Trustee King.

A motion was made by Trustee Littrell and seconded by Trustee Keast to approve the committee minutes from March 15, 2017.

i. General funds bills reviewed: Committee approved.

ii. Special fund bills reviewed: Committee approved.

Distribution of General Fund Expenditure Budget for FY 2018 - Finance Director reported Committee had received Expenditure Budget for the General Fund for fiscal 2018. All funds budget will be available at the next committee meeting. Present initial bids for Sewer Interceptor project - Village Engineer Tyson reviewed the bids received for Phase 1 of the new Sewer Interceptor. No other action was taken. Review of Road Program for Calendar 2017 - Presentation by Village Engineer Dave Tyson. Review of Farm 8 Fleet Redevelopment agreement - The Committee members reviewed the agreement for passage at the next Board meeting. Daily Journal 2017 Progress Awards banquet - All interested Committee members should inform Sue Pranskus for tickets. Request for sponsorship for the "Power of Community” gala by Kankakee Community College - Committee declined to participate. Request for donation to Friends of Olivet - Committee declined to participate. Approval for Air Curtain purchase - The Committee reviewed the equipment specs and on a motion by Rick Fischer, seconded by Bruce Greenlee, approved the purchase.

8. Adjournment and Time:

A motion was made by Trustee Littrell and seconded by Trustee Keast to adjourn the Finance Committee meeting. Motion passed on a voice vote of 5-0 and the meeting adjourned at 4:45 p.m.
