Manteno Police Department issued the following announcement on July 25.
It's time once again for the annual Manteno Triathlon & Duathlon. This coming Saturday July 27th from approximately 730-11am several streets will be blocked or partially blocked while the event is occurring. The same routes as usual are being utilized.
It all starts and ends at the Manteno Sportsmen's Club--
South on N. Main St to 4th St
4th St to Maple St
Maple St up to and past Legacy Park
10000 N. Rd from Rt50 to Rt45
West Shore Blvd south to Walnut St to 5th St
And of course all of the streets in between these main routes will be affected. Please be patient, be careful, and obey all traffic control devices and officers that will be out there.
