Village of Grant Park Village Board met Oct. 21.

6:30PM Meeting Called to Order/ Pledge

Roll Call was taken, all members present

*Motion to approve previous 10/07/19 meeting minutes

Motion: Dickson 2nd: Morse Motion Carried 6-0-0

(Amending the agenda)

Chief Frey introduced Tellous “TJ” Boulden, to be a part time Police officer

Clerk Dillman swore in the oath of office to Mr. Boulden

No Public Comments:

*Motion to approve Bills for Payment: <10/17/19 General Fund: $7,998.12, M.F.T $283.75, Festival Account $1,206.78, T.I.F. $9,470.00, <10/09/19 Stipend $1,275.00, <10/05/19 Payroll $15,017.13

Clerk Dillman: no report

Streets & Alleys, Veldhuizen:

*Motion to waive First Reading Ordinance O-10-19-1 authorizing execution of IPWMAN agreement

Motion: Veldhuizen 2nd: Dickson Motion Carried 6-0-0

*Motion to approve Ordinance O-10-19-1 authorizing execution of IPWMAN agreement

Motion: Veldhuizen 2nd: Morse Motion Carried 6-0-0

Ms. Veldhuizen stated that it is posted that brush pickup has ended for the season, but due to today’s wind storm, branches will be picked up, and leaf pickup will begin next week.

Finance, Dickson: no report

Sewer & Garbage, Morgan: no report

Building & Grounds, Morse: no report

Ordinance & Insurance, Wiedl: no report

Law Enforcement, Coats: no report

Chief Frey: Has been in contact with the Art students at the School, about painting murals in town on some buildings. He has shown a picture, designed by the students to be painted on the south end of the East side of the Police Station. A voice vote approved the concept, insurance issues will be looked in to, and thinking is, it will be done in the spring.
