Village of Clifton Budget and Finance Committee met Oct. 14.
Here is the minutes provided by the committee:

-Treasurers report was viewed and approved
- Discussed converting a portion of checking balances into Cd's. We decided to move $100K out of the Water fund checking account and put it into a 6 month CD earning 1.85%. Also discussed was to move $75K out of the Motor Fuel checking account and putting it into a 6 month CD earning 1.85%. We then discussed that when Water Fund CD #14 matured that we were going to roll that into a 12 month CD earning 1.86%.
We talked about renewing the solid waste collection services with Homewood Disposal. We decided to renew with them with a 3% increase, signing a 5 year contract.
