Items for Discussion:

• Website Redesign – Mr. LaRocque showed the updated design. It is still being worked upon. The committee had some suggestions that will be given to Webfoot Design to incorporate.

• IMIC Renewal Rates – The renewal rates for the village’s property, liability and worker’s compensation have increased 8% over last year. The insurance industry overall has shown high increases across the nation. IMIC has discussed raising the deductible for claims Trustee Gesky suggested that deductibles could be based on a percentage of insurables.

• O’Reilly’s Update – A one-month extension was given to the company who is preparing the site plan. The closing date is still scheduled on or before 4/1/2020. O’Reilly’s will not close until a building permit is issued. The village may have to move the Wayfinder sign. Mayor suggested that all signs be inspected, moved and/or repaired.

• Workplace Transparency Act – The Village Attorney informed the village that a new law will take effect in 2020 and it will require all employees (full-time and part-time) take sexual harassment training. The annual training can available to employees online.

• Golf Course Recap – Mrs. LaMore has emailed the board members of the Save Our Golf Course that she will be resigning from the board at tonight’s meeting. Mr. LaRocque will be taking a spreadsheet to the meeting tonight showing what the village has contributed on behalf of the golf course.

Trustee Dole exited the meeting at 8:00 a.m.

• Month End Financial Reports – Mr. LaRocque stated that income is up, but that is due to most of the property tax money being received. The Public Works and Police department are slightly over budget. Mr. LaRocque and Ms. Martin will make a change to the Misc. category by adding some line items to the budget for FY 20-21. They will breakout some of the income that used to be put into Misc. so that it can be tracked.

• Misc. –

o Mr. Hanley is requesting to purchase a new John Deere tractor and two (2) Kubota mowers. These are budgeted items. The village will surplus a 2004 John Deere tractor and a 2011 and 2013 mower. These items will be on the December 16th board agenda for approval.

A motion by Mayor Nugent and seconded by Trustee Gesky to adjourn the meeting at 8:08 a.m. Voice vote – all ayes.
