2 Kankakee County residents in their forties test positive for COVID-19 on May 27

Two Kankakee County residents in their forties tested positive for COVID-19 on May 27, according to numbers being reported by the Illinois Department of Public Health.

In total, there have been 144 positive cases reported in Kankakee County among residents in their forties, accounting for 17.8 percent of all cases in the county. Through May 27, Kankakee County has reported a total of 808 confirmed cases of the coronavirus, 43 of which have ended with the victim's death.
