As of September 1, there have been 434 Kankakee County residents in their twenties who have tested positive for COVID-19, according to numbers being reported to the Illinois Department of Public Health.

There have been 5,279 residents in their twenties in the county who had been tested, meaning that eight percent of those tested have the coronavirus. Through September 1, there have been 2,256 confirmed COVID-19 cases and 71 deaths from the coronavirus in Kankakee County.
