Riverside Health Care issued the following announcement on Sept. 16.
Riverside Healthcare is pleased to welcome internal medicine physician, Dr. Bushra Alam. Dr. Alam will be seeing patients at Riverside's Frankfort Campus beginning in October.
Dr. Alam believes in working with and empowering her patients to be an advocate for their own health.
Dr. Alam completed her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine at Midwestern University, Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine in Downer's Grove, IL. She recently completed her Internal Medicine Residency at Riverside Medical Center through Riverside's fully accredited ACGME program in Kankakee, IL.
In addition to her education, Dr. Alam is a member is the America College of Physicians, the American Thoracic Society, the American College of Rheumatology, the American Medical Association and the American Medical Women's Association.
Dr. Alam will be seeing patients at Riverside Healthcare Frankfort Campus, located at 23120 S. LaGrange Road in Frankfort, IL.
