ONU Theatre presents “The Hiding Place”

1

Olivet Nazarene University issued the following announcement on Oct. 18

Olivet Nazarene University Department of Theatre is proud to present The Hiding Place directed by Professor Ashley Sarver '15/'18 MBA.

The newly adapted play is based on the personal memoir of Corrie ten Boom. The Hiding Place tells the story of a Dutch watchmaker’s journey as she experiences the tragedy of the Holocaust and the power of faithfulness.

“Portraying the role of Corrie ten Boom has been such an honor and a blessing in my life,” said Elizabeth Bair. “I’ve actually read The Hiding Place three times! This role has impacted my life because it reminds me of God’s presence in every situation. It has been a great reminder that all people are loved by God, even though it may be hard for us to understand and acknowledge.”
