Here are the minutes provided by the board:

6:30PM Motion to appoint Mr. Morgan temporary chairperson for this meeting

    Motion: Coats     2nd: Wiedl    Motion Carried 5-0-0

Meeting Called to Order/ Pledge

Roll Call was taken, all present except Pres Hawkins, arriving at 6:50PM, and Ms. Bruni

*Motion to approve minutes from previous 12/20/21 meeting

      Motion: Coats    2nd: Raloff     Motion Carried 4-0-1      Wiedl abstaining

No Public Comments:

*Motion to approve Bills for Payment: <12/30/21 General Fund $25,026.83, M.F.T. $250.48,

Fest Account $348.12, <12/17/21 Payroll $6,375.00, <12/25/21 $16,022.31

     Motion: Morgan     2nd: Coats    Motion Carried 3-2-0 (Morgan breaking tie) Veldhuizen/Wiedl-no

Departmental Reports:

Clerk Dillman: Proposed meeting dates for 2022 was presented. Also asked that we remember the Bradley Police Dept, in their time of hardship due to the recent shooting

Streets & Alley, Coats: reported new truck working well, had to remove a tree near Mosier & Prarie, spoke of barricading the sidewalk near a W. Taylor St. Business, due to loose brick in a wall, due to be repaired in the Spring.

Finance, Morgan: spoke that a TIF application has been received for Flanagan’s Pub, and will be reviewed

Sewer & Garbage, Veldhuizen: no report

Pres. Hawkins arrives to conduct meeting…….

Building & Grounds, Bruni: In her absence, Mr. Morgan reported a Fest Meeting was held, reviewing the finances, showing an appx $7000 loss for the event. February Cabin Fever Reliever cancelled, due to Covid concerns

Ordinance & Insurance, Raloff: no report

Law Enforcement, Wiedl: Reported Grant Park residents donated $929 to Shop with a Cop, where Food, and toys were purchased for children

Chief Frey: spoke of the Bradley shooting, and pending funeral plans, also spoke of Sgt Whitlows retirement plans.

Pres. Hawkins:

*Motion to approve Liquor and Gaming License for Flanagan’s Pub expiring 4/30/22

     Motion: Veldhuizen      2nd: Morgan     Motion Carried 5-0-0

Discussion of use of the Covid funds received, several areas proposed, more discussion at the next meeting

Discussion to hold a Village employee Christmas Party, Where/When/not at all?  …..no decision

7:10PM motion to enter Executive session to discuss personnel

     Motion: Wiedl       2nd: Veldhuizen    Motion Carried 5-0-0

7:21PM returned to open session, no discussion

7:22PM Meeting Adjourned
