Here are the minutes provided by the board:

6:30PM Meeting called to Order/ Pledge

Roll Call taken, all present except Ms. Wiedl

*Motion to approve 9/14/22 previous meeting minutes with correction to vote on Historical Society vote, should have been 4-0-1 Raloff abstaining   

     Motion: Morgan    2nd: Raloff      Motion Carried 5-0-0

No Public Comments:

*Motion to approve Bills for Payment: <9/30/22 General Fund $8,826.90, Fest Fund $2,695.63, TIF $8,275.00, <9/17/22 Payroll $18,172.50, <9/19/22 Payroll $6,375.00

         Motion: Morgan       2nd: Bruni      Motion Carried 4-1-0

Clerk Dillman: Announced election is open for April ’23 election. Grant Park has 3-4year, and 1-2 year Trustee terms that are up for election 

Streets & Alleys, Coats: tree trimming will be done for selected trees; a person has been hired for the Community Center cleaning, discussion on tar & chipping 9000N. Rd from 12000E going west out for bid, to be done next year

Finance, Morgan:  

*Motion to approve TIF redevelopment agreement with G.P. Historical Society, not to exceed $21,650.00, paid in one payment (501C3 Organization)

       Motion: Morgan     2nd: Danahey     Motion Carried 4-0-1 Raloff abstaining

Sewer & Garbage, Danahey: no report, spoke on County Environmental study info

Building & Grounds, Bruni: Discussed Village Hall improvements, Inside & Out, G.P. Fest reviewed

Ordinance & Insurance, Raloff:

*Second reading Ordinance 9-22-1 Village code 1-1-3 Amendments 

       Motion: Raloff      2nd: Danahey     Motion Carried 5-0-0

Discussion held concerning several outdated Ordinances, to be reviewed

*Motion to approve Resolution R-10-22-1 “Historical Society TIF Agreement”

        Motion: Raloff       2nd: Bruni     Motion Carried 4-0-1     Raloff abstaining

Law Enforcement, Wiedl: no report, absent

Chief Frey: no report.  Advised on Rt17 repaving, about to commence

Pres Hawkins: Discussed committee changes, possible new one “Community Outreach”, Halloween hours 4-7, Community Park Halloween 3PM-7, PTO “Helping Hands Day” 10/9/22, discussion held on Holiday pay updating, update on GP Website
