Roll Call was taken, all present except Ms. Wiedl

*Motion to approve minutes from 9/03/22 previous meeting 

       Motion: Morgan      2nd: Danahey     Motion Carried 5-0-0

No public comments

*Motion to approve Bills for payment: <9/15/22 General Fund $4,852.36, Fest Fund $2,800.00, TIF fund $4,500.00, Stipend $1,200.00

       Motion: Morgan     2nd: Danahey     Motion Carried 5-0-0

Departmental reports:

Clerk Dillman:

*Motion to approve gaming license for Love’s Truck Stop

       Motion: Morgan       2nd: Bruni      Motion Carried 5-0-0

Streets & Alleys, Coats: brush pick up ends 10/3/22, leaf pickup beginning mid-October

Finance, Morgan: 

*Motion to approve phishing training for employees

     Motion: Morgan       2nd: Danahey      Motion Carried 5-0-0

    Mr. Morgan gave a TIF application update for Wick Bike Shop, Bennet Curtis House, Flanagan’s, GP Historical Society (Point School)

Sewer & Garbage, Danahey: no report

Building & Grounds, Bruni: gave a Fest update, all seemed to go well. Financials to follow

Ordinance & Insurance, Raloff:

*Motion to waive permit fee for Historical Society for roofing

     Motion: Raloff      2nd: Morgan      Motion Carried 5-0-0

*Motion to approve Resolution R-9-22-2 to suspend impact fees for 2 years

       Motion: Raloff     2nd: Morgan      Motion Carried 5-0-0

First reading held for Ordinance O-9-22-1 for code 1-1-3 “Amendments”

Law Enforcement, Wiedl: absent     no report

Pres. Hawkins: spoke on saving date for Halloween Celebration 3-7PM, Trick or Treat hours 4-7, Christmas in the Village 12/10/22 at the Elementary School
