Iroquois County Finance/I.T. Committee met Oct. 5.

CALL MEETING TO ORDER: Dr. Zumwalt, Chairman called the Iroquois County Public Health Department Board of Health Finance Committee meeting to order at 1:00pm on Wednesday, October 5, 2022, in the Iroquois County Public Health Department Administration Office. Roll call was taken.

APPROVE AGENDA: Mrs. Breymeyer made a motion to approve the agenda. Motion seconded by Mrs. Offill and approved by voice vote.

PUBLIC COMMENTS: N/A

REVIEW BOH FINANCE MINUTES FROM SEPTEMBER 7 2022: Discussion was held. Barbara Offill made a motion to approve the September BOH Finance Meeting Minutes as written. Motion seconded by Mrs. Lisa Breymeyer and approved by a voice vote.

REVIEW AND APPROVAL OF CLAIMS FOR AUGUST 2022: A claims listing for September 2022 was distributed for review and approval. Dr. Philip Zumwalt moved to approve the claims for September 2022 as presented. Motion seconded by Mrs. Breymeyer. Motion approved by roll call vote: Aye- Lisa Breymeyer, Barbara Offill, Dr. Zumwalt. However, two specific claims came up that required separate board approval. The first claim was through Emergency Senior Services. Eric Ceci explained of a small error that has been fixed and is ready to be processed. Mrs. Lisa Breymeyer made a motion to approve the claim. Approved with a voice vote. A second claim was then discussed. Mr. Eric Ceci said the department has been approved to dispense funds to a local county resident who has been a victim of financial exploitation. APS case workers have verified the case. Mrs. Lisa Breymeyer then made a motion to approve the second claim. Motion seconded by Barbara Offill.

REVIEW FINANCIAL DATA FOR AUGUST 2022: A copy of ICPHD’s cash balance as of October 3 2022, was distributed for review. Discussion was held.

OLD BUSINESS: A copy of the ICPHD grants and contracts list along with a summary report of programs through September 2022 was distributed for review.

NEW BUSINESS: N/A

ADJOURNMENT: Mrs. Breymeyer made a motion, seconded by Mr. Zumwalt, to adjourn at 1:44 PM on Wednesday October 5, 2022. Motion approved by unanimous voice vote.
