City of Watseka Public Safety Committee met Feb. 13.

a) Monthly Meeting-Discussion of current and upcoming events and radio etiquette, Officer Spears met with each officer individually during the meeting, and new red and blue emergency lights were handed out, and instruction on how to install and when to use and not to use.
b) Called out 1/27 for detail
c) 2 Officers will be present for WCHS Winter ball from 6p to 12a, and also for an event at the Silo Pub
d) Personnel- Jonathan Carter was interviewed and would like to place him on the department-One Auxiliary Officer will be retiring soon and another will be leaving around August, and one Auxiliary Officer has returned from medical leave
