Bourbonnais, Illinois - Charles E. Kelly Sr., aged 71, of Bourbonnais, passed away on Tuesday, October 8, 2024, at Citadel of Bourbonnais. Born on January 20, 1953, in Chicago, Charles was the son of Edward and Phyllis (Montgomery) Kelly.

Charles worked as a water operator for Aqua Illinois and had a passion for watching movies, sports, and spending time with his beloved dogs. Known for his love of food and sense of humor, Charles cherished the moments spent with his grandchildren.

Surviving Charles are his two sons, Charles Kelly Jr. of Bradley and Joshua Kelly of Bourbonnais, stepdaughter Charlotte Clark of Momence, sister Donna (Jay) Kruse of Queen Creek, AZ, four grandchildren, and nieces. He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, and brother-in-law.

A memorial visitation will be held from 4-6 p.m. on Friday, October 18, 2024, at Clancy-Gernon Funeral Home in Bourbonnais. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family's wishes.
