Bourbonnais - Janice Jean Gregoire, aged 76, passed away surrounded by family on October 12, 2024, at her home in Bourbonnais. Born on December 21, 1947, at St. Mary's Hospital in Kankakee to Eugene and Theresa Gregoire, Janice dedicated her life to service within the Catholic Church.

For 25 years, Janice served as the business manager at St. Joseph's Parish in Bradley, followed by 8 years at St. Mary Immaculate Parish in Plainfield. She obtained an Associate's Degree in Business Administration from Kankakee Community College. Known for her culinary skills, Janice delighted family and friends with her holiday cookies and Chex mix.

An active member of a local book club, Janice also ventured into clown entertainment after attending clown college in 1986. She brought joy to many through performances at fairs and children's birthday parties.

Janice is survived by her sons James (Jodi) and Brian (Patricia) Mazzuchi, grandchildren Andrew, Alexis, Emily, and Katherine Mazzuchi, siblings Joseph, Jerome, Fleurette, and Phillip Gregoire, nieces, and nephews. She is preceded in death by her son Daniel Mazzuchi and cousin David Gregoire.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 16, 2024, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Clancy-Gernon Funeral Homes in Bourbonnais. A funeral mass will take place on Thursday, October 17, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Bradley, followed by burial at St. George Cemetery in St. George.

Memorials may be made to Uplifted Care, Breast Cancer Research Foundation, or Masses, in honor of Janice Jean Gregoire.
