Thomas Lee "Tom" Liuzzi, 66, of Bradley, formerly of Chicago, passed away at his home on Thursday, October 17, 2024. Born on July 9, 1958, in Chicago to Anthony and Genieve Vicari, Tom was a devoted family man, finding his greatest joy in his children and grandchildren.

Known as a father figure to all neighborhood kids, Tom's favorite holiday was the 4th of July, where he hosted memorable cookouts with the best fireworks. His family pledges to continue his beloved July 4th tradition in his memory.

Surviving Tom is his life partner of over 50 years, Ruby Sanders of Bradley; sons Thomas Liuzzi, Joseph Sanders, and Chase (Jeannie) Sanders; daughters Mindy Sanders and Ashley Liuzzi (Matt); brothers Robert Vicari and Anthony Vicari; grandchildren Adin, Jayden, Nathan, Kendall, Valerie, Arianna, Joshua, Jacqueline, Sophia, and Ivy; great-grandchild Leilani; nieces, nephews, and cousins. Tom was a special uncle to Christine, Robert, Genieve, Tabatha, and Samantha. He is preceded in death by his parents, daughter Amy Liuzzi, and niece Theresa.

Cremation rites have been accorded, and a memorial visitation is scheduled for Wednesday, October 23, 2024, from 3-7 p.m. at Clancy-Gernon Funeral Home in Bourbonnais.
