PRESENT: Mayor Allhands, Aldermen Muench, Cahoe and Marcier

ABSENT: Alderman Barragree

Mayor Allhands opened the meeting at 6:00 pm. There was no public comment.

Mayor Allhands stated the reason for the meeting was to discuss a possible liquor and gaming license request from the Cluck Bucket at 800 W Walnut St. It was stated at the present time they are closed for a re-organization and to re-elevate the direction their business is going. Mayor Allhands stated there is one Class A1 mixed liquor license available at this time until Elizabeth McTaggart gets her business open. There was a short discussion of a property tax abatement the city’s portion would only be $2546.00. It was discussed that they might try being more of a bar and grill business instead of just concentrating on chicken only. Alderman Marcier stated currently there are 88 gaming machines in the city, and he believes that’s enough and there are several right there in that block. Alderman Cahoe and Muench are ok with letting them try a liquor and gaming license. Alderman Cahoe makes a motion to recommend to the council to give the Cluck Bucket a Class A1Mixed liquor license and a gaming license. Alderman Muench seconded.
