BOURBONNAIS - David John Radke, aged 78, of Bourbonnais, passed away on Saturday, December 7, 2024. Born in Kankakee, Radke proudly served in the U.S. Navy, specializing as a Radar man and being a member of the Color Guard during two tours in Vietnam. Following his military service, he had a successful career in the banking and insurance industries. Radke was a dedicated member of Maternity BVM Parish, the Kankakee Elks Country Club, and had a passion for golf, achieving an impressive record of 6 holes in one.

Survived by his wife Denise Radke, children Michael and Josh Radke, Guy Redman, sister Linda Legris, grandchildren, and nieces, Radke was known for his love for the Chicago Bears and his active involvement in various organizations.

Visitation will be held on Monday, December 16, 2024, at Clancy-Gernon Funeral Home in Bourbonnais, with a Funeral Mass on Tuesday, December 17, 2024, at Maternity BVM Catholic Church. Burial will take place at All Saints Cemetery in Bourbonnais. Donations can be made to the family to assist with funeral expenses.
