Anna Marie Wheeler | Clancy Gernon Funeral Homes - Bourbonnais

Anna Marie "Ann" Wheeler, aged 89, passed away on Wednesday, January 15, 2025, at home surrounded by her loving family. Born on March 8, 1935, to Walter and Emma Bertrand in Kankakee, she resided her entire life in Kankakee County. On June 19, 1954, she married Gilbert E. Wheeler, Jr., at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church.

Together, the couple owned and operated Adcraft Printers, Inc., for over 50 years, where they shared their passion for antique automobiles, travel, and bowling. Committed to her family, Ann was a member of various community groups and actively engaged in church activities. She was a parishioner of St. Rose of Lima Church and later attended St. John Paul II Catholic Church.

Survived by sons Scott, Dallas, Erik, daughter Sherry, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, surviving in-laws, nieces, nephews, and friends. Ann was preceded in death by her parents, daughter Mary, sons Larry and Christopher, granddaughter Elizabeth, great-grandson Jordan, and other relatives.

Visitation will be on January 26, 2025, at Clancy-Gernon-Hertz Funeral Home and funeral services on January 27, 2025, at St. Rose Chapel. Memorials may be made to The Association for the Preservation of St. Rose Chapel.
